Hy,

hummm... a idea for KDE... ?Users? and amins for easy change the bootscreen
and menuscreen, it shold give a tool in KDE to chang not only the
Boot-Scree, there should be also a possibility to change the
Grub-menu-Screen and the Boot-screen in one Application for making themes..
can anyone make a Kommanderscript or a kde-app for all Distriebutions to
chang the Boot-Menu and the
Boot-Screen by Grub... the i use Mandriva ad there is so
bad "oem-marked" Boot-Menu on grub ad i dont have a possibility as
normaluser or "light-admin"*g* to change easyly
the Grub-Boot-Menu ... and to insert new Boot-themes... it shold give a
easy possibility to chang the Boot screen and the grafical grub menu...
"iss doch sonst scheisse sowas, keine möglichkeit zu haen grn Grub-Splash
und bootscreen zu wechseln.. *bg*" in my german words spoken*g*

and Simon say's :
make a correcktly proggy to change
the Boot/Splash-screens on all
grub'ed Distriebutions ;)..
It give the possibility,
and it sholt give a
Program for it !

regards
Blacky

Why don't you turn on the spell checking in the browser, it will make any obvious typo turn red, so you can correct you text while writing it. This practice also trains the brain to more correctly coordinate your thoughts with your finger movement. I'm also a notorious "fliptyper", and while the constant redturning is annoying in the beginning, you'll automatically try to avoid it, thus making a conscious effort to type correctly. This has improved my typing a lot, and I also learned to type blindly with the 10 finger system.

I work with mandvd on mandriva spring 2007.I got the DVD stucture but I always have the following comments and cannot maintain the file on the computer.
"--> Lancement de l'encodage des fichiers ------------------------------------------------------------

Too many video packets in the buffer: (4096 in 8280510 bytes).
The selected video_out device is incompatible with this codec.
Try adding the scale filter, e.g. -vf spp, scale instead of -vf spp.
Limiting audio preload to 0.4s.
Increasing audio density to 4.
SwScaler: using unscaled yuv420p -> yuv420p special converter
New_Face failed. Maybe the font path is wrong.
Please supply the text font file (~/.mplayer/subfont.ttf).
subtitle font: load_sub_face failed.

Do you like or dislike Ubuntu Unity?
 Yes, unity is alien technology!
It is less confusing than Gnome 3 default, shell.
Granny thinks it is much more usable than Gnome 2
Canonical is embarrasing itself with this split project
Gnome 3 default shell is much better
I dislike Unity, Gnome 3 default shell is alien technology!
None of the above, I like the 2Gb for free and Apple alike behavior. Will post a comment instead
