I just submitted a wallpaper - how the heck do I get a thumbnail preview image to appear on the left hand side of the wallpapers page??

Thanks,

OK, I got this - a gotcha!

You have to upload a 'screenshot'. Well, what got me here was if I turn off 'show screenshots' the wallpapers still show on the page, so I guessed (wrongly) they wasn't screenshots at all...

Look for the best Linux is equal look for the best beer, you'll never find it :-)

The best Linux is a choice that YOU make, not others. Test the distros and you'll be able to make this choice.

About KDE, the last version is always the best, for me. The lastest version is 3.5.3 (?).

Sorry my bad english.

See ya!

 Error 404 - File not

by blumej on: Jun 28 2006

Score 50%

today I tried to upload a wallpaper (1280x1024 and 1024x768). The content file and the screenshots where all uploaded out of the same directory with the same attributes.
The screenshots were uploaded/updated as well as the wallpapers. But when I tried to save, I get the message: "Please specify a download file" and when I try to download the wallpapers I get: "Error 404 - File not found". - The screenshots are downloadable.

What's wrong?

You'd better ask that in Moodin's comment space. This place here is for global discussion.

Do you like or dislike Ubuntu Unity?
 Yes, unity is alien technology!
It is less confusing than Gnome 3 default, shell.
Granny thinks it is much more usable than Gnome 2
Canonical is embarrasing itself with this split project
Gnome 3 default shell is much better
I dislike Unity, Gnome 3 default shell is alien technology!
None of the above, I like the 2Gb for free and Apple alike behavior. Will post a comment instead
