Submitted:  Aug 29 2004
Updated:  Sep 24 2007

Description:

DBoxFE is a linux frontend for DOSBox. With DBoxFE you can create and manage your configuration files very easily, which are needed by DOSBox. In addition it's also possible to create gameprofiles to generate different configuration files. Since recently you can load the game automatically. I mean, you can add your favourite game in the list and you can start it immediately.

More over DOSBox? Visit the DOSBox website: http://dosbox.sourceforge.net

New version (0.1.3) need:
Qt 4.3.x

New version (0.1.1) need:
Qt 4.1.x

Old version (0.0.5) need:
KDE 3.1.x / 3.2.x / 3.3
Qt 3.3.x

Function:
create and manage configurations file
create different profiles for your games
launch DOSBox with this configurations file

Note:
yeah, it is function on KDE 3.3
This is is no problem for my project.
This is down able for another user with 3.1.x 3.2.x (KDE) and 3.2.x (Qt).
Debian user included :)

A optimal display-solution for dboxfe is 1024x768

Nice idea but when I create a profile and configure it, "Games" and "Savegame directory" listboxes are still disabled, so i cant just run games from there. Have I forgotten to do anything?

Do you like or dislike Ubuntu Unity?
 Yes, unity is alien technology!
It is less confusing than Gnome 3 default, shell.
Granny thinks it is much more usable than Gnome 2
Canonical is embarrasing itself with this split project
Gnome 3 default shell is much better
I dislike Unity, Gnome 3 default shell is alien technology!
None of the above, I like the 2Gb for free and Apple alike behavior. Will post a comment instead
