An extended calendar with daily weather forecasts and events from Google Calendar. Also includes a timer and 24 hour forecast graph.

Based on the Event Flow Calendar for android. Combines code from weather-widget, volume control from mediacontrolscompact, and the default calendar + timer plasmoids.

* Google Calendar Agenda
* Weather
* Timer
* Double click a day in the calendar to open the new event template in the browser.
* Clicking a day in the agenda opens a quick form for creating an event.
* Clicking an event in the agenda opens the event in the browser.
* Scrolling over the clock controls the volume.

Github: https://github.com/Zren/plasma-applets/tree/master/org.kde.plasma.eventcalendar
Arch / Chakra: pacman -S plasma5-applets-eventcalendar

v34 - June 14 2016

* Fix clock scaling on vertical panels.
* Use the locale's timeformat by default.
* Can now also choose your theme's calendar event indicator. By default it uses the theme, or the old solid rectangle if on an older version of KDE.
* Included a dots event indicator showing if there's 0-3+ events on that day.
* Performance increase when drawing the agenda (specifically the invisible new event form).
* 24h labels in the meteogram and the calendar tooltips.

v33 - June 13 2016

* Round percipitation if >1mm.
* Show past events in the current month.
* Fix last selected calendar not saving.
* Properly scale the widget when resized (eg: desktop widget).
* Add a pin button.
* The meteogram now takes up the entire top row when the timer is disabled.

v32 - May 9 2016

* Fix in-progress multiday events positioning the current day in agenda in the wrong place.

v31 - May 9 2016

* Highlight current weather, date, and events in progress.
* Add non persistent (bug) sound toggle in the timer.
* Scroll over the timer to add/remove a minute from the duration.
* Show mm percipitation label in each 3h period.
* Fix scrolling to selection. Reenable showing previous events earlier in the current month since it now scrolls to the current date properly.

I'm not considering adding other calendar services any time soon. Sorry.

 Crashing every time

 by msledziona on: May 13 2016

Hi, I have an annoying problem with this plasmoid and cannot make it work properly.
This is what I'm doing before it causes my Plasma to crash:
1. added plasmoid v. 32 to my Plasma desktop (everything is OK then);
2. clicked on it (without even configuring it). Whole Plasma crashed immediately after trying to access Event Calendar.

After that my Plasmashell displayed a crash report which I'm linking below.
The crash can be reproduced every single time.

Hope you could help me with that.

Thanks in advance!

Sounds like a repeat of the Qt 5.6 bug which I can't reproduce. You're using Qt 5.6.0 right? And KDE 5.6.3?

This probably won't work but eliminates a question I've had. Does it still crash after opening after you logout => login?

 some problems

I love this app, however, with the recent updates to KDE (on openSUSE) clicking on it causes the whole desktop to freeze/crash.

Do you experience this?

Is there any debugging output I can send you? (how?)

If it's the bug I think it is, then there won't be any useful debug logs. What's you OS/version? What's you KDE version? What's you Qt version?

The plasmoid display sometimes no appointments. Then it displays the wrong appointment on the wrong day.
I use QT 5.6.0 with plasma 5.6.4 and KDE-Frameworks 5.22.0.
If you need a logfile, just ask.

No appointments = access_token expired and it didn't automatically renew. Workaround (for now) should be to manually refresh with the button in the bottom right of the agenda.

Is "wrong appointments on the wrong day" reproduceable? As in, does going to the next month and back show the same bug? Or does it fix itself? If it isn't reproduceable, take a screenshot the next time it happens, along with a screenshot of the event in the browser. You can easily open the event in the browser by clicking the event in the agenda.

Sorry for the late answer. I refresh the appointments, but they wouldn't be displayed. The calendar shows me for example appointments from the 1. July on the 1. June. That happens more than one time.

Regards Volker

How do you like Plasma 5?
 The best KDE Desktop ever.
 Definitely a nice improvement.
 Not decided yet. Haven't tried it yet.
 I do not like some of the changes.
 KDE is taking the wrong way.
 I am still sticking with KDE 3.5.
 I have no opinion, but wanted to vote anyway.
