FCE Ultra NES Manager - README
Marc Hurst, mishura (at) gmail (dot) com, 2005

Based off of Ultra NES Manger (TuxNES) by:
Ljubomir Simin, ljubomir (dot) simin (at) gmail (dot) com, 2005

FCE Ultra NES Manager is a modification of Ljubomir's Ultra NES Manager written in Kommander. I did this because, I prefer FCEU over Tuxnes, and I was wanting a frontend that operated similar to his.

To use FUMN you will need:

KDE or KDELibs (www.kde.org)
Kommander >= 1.1 (kommander.kdewebdev.org)
FCE Ultra >= 0.98 Linux/Unix version.

To run FUNM, type "kmdr-executor /path/to/FUNM" is a place in filesystem where UNM file is located i.e. "~/programs/fultranes.kmdr", or double-click on FUNM file in konqueror. If there is no "kmdr-executor" program in your system, or if double-click opens a text editor instead of UNM, that means Kommander is not installed properly.

I have lightly tested this to work for me. Some things are handled differently, due to the differences with TuxNES and FCEU. I can't guarantee this will work perfectly for you. Please send bug reports, code, hints, and fixes at my email address: mishura@gmail.com

1.0 Release Candidate 2 (Works better than before!)

- Fixed fullscreen, but its a hack. Using Kstart to make it "fullscreen".
- Switched scaling support from -x(y)scale to -special .. makes graphics cleaner.
- Antialiasing support
- *.NSF NES Music roms support in browser (By request!)
- Zipped rom support.. no longer does it extract zips and deletes them.
(Fixed from original UMN)
- PAL/NTSC switcher, for no reason other than to add a feature.

1.0 Release Candidate 1

- Initial release. Buggy but works.. to an extent.

I'd like to mention that this is merely a testing release. I'm aware of some problems with it. (Nothing system critical.)

I'm still learning Kommander, and I'm no expert or guru. If you have any ideas or code examples to help out let me know.

How do you like Plasma 5?
 The best KDE Desktop ever.
 Definitely a nice improvement.
 Not decided yet. Haven't tried it yet.
 I do not like some of the changes.
 KDE is taking the wrong way.
 I am still sticking with KDE 3.5.
 I have no opinion, but wanted to vote anyway.
