Flacon extracts individual tracks from one big audio file containing the entire album of music and saves them as separate audio files. To do this, it uses information from the appropriate CUE file.
Besides, Flacon makes it possible to conveniently revise or specify tags both for all tracks at once or for each tag separately.
Now Flacon is a pure Qt application.

* Supported input formats: WAV, FLAC, APE, WavPack, True Audio (TTA).
* Supported out formats: FLAC, WAV, WavPack, AAC, OGG or MP3.
* Replay Gain analysis (album-gain and track-gain modes).
* Multi-threaded conversion process.
* Automatic character set detection for CUE files.

Version 2.0.0 and 2.0.1
* Support CUE files with several FILE tags.
* Fix: Flacon crashed if audio file was corrupt.
* Improved stability of the program.
* The program displays the duration of the tracks.
* New visual design of tracks selection.
* Program checks duration of the disk, if disk is shorter than CUE warning mark is displayed.
* Improves in the texts and messages.
* Translations updated
* OS/2 support.

Thank you for your ultimate work.
Flacon is a very efficient and very convenient application.

Linux also is very efficent to make an audiophile server: http://www.maison-passive-nice.fr/images/sagittarius_for_my_brother.png

Great to see a new release :D

I'm compiling from source for Arch - which is not kicking any errors and completes and installs. Cue files load fine and I can amend tags but hitting the "start conversion" produces this repetitive error;

[code]I can't parse "Splitting [/home/taz/Music/D.O.A/D.O.A - 13 Flavours Of Doom (FLACUE)/D.O.A - 13 Flavours of Doom.flac] (43:05.72) --> [/home/taz/Music/D.O.A/D.O.A - 13 Flavours of Doom (TEST)/tmp-10424-00005.wav] (2:14.65) : 0"

all the way through to 100 :(

This happens with all cue files I have tested... any ideas? shntool, flac and other deps are installed and working as they should.

I am also seeing this with the deb pkg from the ppa.

Rolling back to v0.80 resolves the error.

Confirmed. If in settings the temporary directory field is empty. I'll fix it in near time.

P.S. It would be better if you would to post bugs to https://github.com/SokoloffA/flacon/issues

 Feature request - Album Artist

Hi, would it be possible to set the Album Artist tag in addition to the Artist tag? It would be very useful at times.

How do you like Plasma 5?
 The best KDE Desktop ever.
 Definitely a nice improvement.
 Not decided yet. Haven't tried it yet.
 I do not like some of the changes.
 KDE is taking the wrong way.
 I am still sticking with KDE 3.5.
 I have no opinion, but wanted to vote anyway.
