Description:

Flacon extracts individual tracks from one big audio file containing the entire album of music and saves them as separate audio files. To do this, it uses information from the appropriate CUE file.
Besides, Flacon makes it possible to conveniently revise or specify tags both for all tracks at once or for each tag separately.

* Replay Gain analysis (album-gain and track-gain modes).

Requires:

* flac (optional, for decoding and encoding FLAC files)
* mac (optional, for decoding APE files)
* wavpack (optional, for decoding WV files)
* oggenc (optional, for encoding OGG files)
* lame (optional, for encoding MP3 files)
* metaflac (optional, for FLAC replay gain)
* vorbisgain (optional, for OGG replay gain)
* mp3gain (optional, for MP3 replay gain)

Installation.
Written in Python, Flacon uses some external programs (see requires), which is why you’ve got to install these programs.
To test the program, just extract the archive and run the file flacon.py.
To install the program, execute: sudo make install.

Thank you very much for this great app!
AFAIK, .cue sheet contains audio file name in "FILE" field. Can you make automatic selection of appropriate audio file assigned to the .cue file?

I know about "FILE" field. But most of my CUE have the wrong value in this field. So I'm not use it.
But if you are lucky to have files with the correct field, I will add this feature in the next release.

It's strange that the program could not find the file. Now the program selects the files are:
1) The audio file name is the same as a cue file (without extension).
2) The audio format should be supported by the program.

Perhaps you have a problem with the second paragraph. Check that you have all the necessary programs installed.

Can you send me cue file, and full names of yours cue and audio files?

I haven't problems with the program at all, it works flawlessly. Haven't noticed that it already selects audio file automatically =]
BTW, here is one more idea - what about using CDDB or Music Brainz for retreiving missing/incorrect tags?

На четырехядернике альбомы пилятся буквально за секунды!

Добавить только batch-mode и сканер директории на предмет cue'в для распила - вообще замечательно будет :)
