If you're waiting for noatun improvements, I suggest you to give amaroK a try!

You are right, noatun is a lame prototype of what a KDE audio player should be. amaroK is its best incarnation, instead.

Good work! I don't have FreeBSD, so i cannot test it or port the new version. Let me know if you need something.

Cool! After trying various (including Amarok/Juk) I couldn't find a player which minimised to the tray with your style of playlist.
I had a few issues when compiling it but it seems to be working ok :-)

1) Got a 'File generated with too recent version of Qt Designer ' error so edited ./src/metaeditorui.ui to drop the version to 3.2.3
2) metaeditor.cpp:62::void MetaEditor::setFiles mainButtonsSpacer wasn't found. Just commented it out. Ahem.
3) It couldn't find grpplaylistui.rc or grpplaylist.plugin so I copied these from the 0.1 version.

Cheers,

Nick

Do you like or dislike Ubuntu Unity?
 Yes, unity is alien technology!
It is less confusing than Gnome 3 default, shell.
Granny thinks it is much more usable than Gnome 2
Canonical is embarrasing itself with this split project
Gnome 3 default shell is much better
I dislike Unity, Gnome 3 default shell is alien technology!
None of the above, I like the 2Gb for free and Apple alike behavior. Will post a comment instead
