Description:

A clock for kicker which looks like the gnome clock.

Instructions :
- Decompress the archive
- cd gnoclock/build
- cmake ..
- make
- sudo make install

- switched to cmake build system
- the calendar popup now shows itself at an user defined position

one question: is it any possible to get a netspeed applet clone for KDE?
You can find description here:

I haven't found any worthy replacement for it...

no... unfortunately not...
knetstats is fine, but i'd like to have an app in the taskbar, that is capable to display up/down speeds without the need to mouseover first...

Did you see that there are 3 modes of visualization : icon, text-mode and graphical ?

just figured it out: beryl was the problem... when selecting kwin as wm (which crashed kde... LOL), it loaded and it even survives beryl now and another relogin :) thx for the hint

Do you like or dislike Ubuntu Unity?
 Yes, unity is alien technology!
 It is less confusing than Gnome 3 default, shell.
 Granny thinks it is much more usable than Gnome 2
 Canonical is embarrasing itself with this split project
 Gnome 3 default shell is much better
 I dislike Unity, Gnome 3 default shell is alien technology!
 None of the above, I like the 2Gb for free and Apple alike behavior. Will post a comment instead
