Description:

KBeam is a KDE application that lets you easily beam files back and forth between your computer and another device (like a PDA) using IR.

Changelog:

Quick release to fix a major bug which cases KBeam to not create the service menu, so you couldn't send files to devices ! Sorry about that, my mistake.
RPMs have been updated as well.

Hi,
Are you using the latest version of the library OpenObex (1.0.1) ?

Georges.

I'm running into the same problem with kbeam-0.61 on Fedora Core 3 with the latest openobex (1.0.1).

I'd love to try getting this to work.

Try compiling OpenObex from scratch. It's not hard. Hopefully, this should fix it.

Georges.

KBeam is great! I finally managed to exchange files between Linux and iPAQ via IrDA. Keep on!

 Debian Etch problem.

Just a note - openobex-configure isn't included in Debian anymore (it's been depreciated in favour of pkg-tool). Made installing a nightmare on my box :(

 Disable warning

Is there any way i can disable this 115200 warning on every start of kbeam? My irda works just fine with 4000000 baud. If not - can you please add this functionality in future versions?

Do you like or dislike Ubuntu Unity?
 Yes, unity is alien technology!
It is less confusing than Gnome 3 default, shell.
Granny thinks it is much more usable than Gnome 2
Canonical is embarrasing itself with this split project
Gnome 3 default shell is much better
I dislike Unity, Gnome 3 default shell is alien technology!
None of the above, I like the 2Gb for free and Apple alike behavior. Will post a comment instead
