Minimum required   Kommander
Downloads:  400
Submitted:  Mar 20 2007
Updated:  Nov 27 2007

Description:

KBibutils provides a graphical frontend to Bibutils (http://www.scripps.edu/~cdputnam/software/bibutils/bibutils.html). The Bibutils are a collection of programs to convert several bibliography formats into others.

Input Formats: ris, bib, end, endx, copac, isi, med
Output Formats: ris, bib, end, isi, word

It depends on Bibutils and Kommander. Execute by typing kmdr-executor kbibutils.kmdr. For the commandline argument support you have to use the kbibutils script file.

Todo:
- Check for the availability of each of the Bibutils conversion tools and modify the offered conversion-formats accordingly.

Changelog:

v 0.1
- Initial release.
v 0.2
- Added possibility to save and append the result to files.
- New Statusbar shows command to be executed
- Some minor improvements
v 0.3
- Added possibility to import files via command-line argument. So one should be able to directly open and convert citations using the "open with ..." option of the Webbrowser (tested with firefox). For use with konqueror one has to change the corresponding file-association to kbibutils.
- Word style output added.
0.4b
Added possibility to automatically download and install Bibutils.
Installation script added. Use both at own risk! Please report bugs to robbeh [at] gmx [point] de

Do you like or dislike Ubuntu Unity?
 Yes, unity is alien technology!
It is less confusing than Gnome 3 default, shell.
Granny thinks it is much more usable than Gnome 2
Canonical is embarrasing itself with this split project
Gnome 3 default shell is much better
I dislike Unity, Gnome 3 default shell is alien technology!
None of the above, I like the 2Gb for free and Apple alike behavior. Will post a comment instead
