I have gentoo and kde 3.2.1 and qt 3.3.0, and i have receive this next message:

make all-recursive
make[1]: Entering directory `/home/tanis/Downloads/Kde-Misc/ktraynetworker-0.7'
Making all in doc
make[2]: Entering directory `/home/tanis/Downloads/Kde-Misc/ktraynetworker-0.7/doc'
cd .. && \
/bin/sh /home/tanis/Downloads/Kde-Misc/ktraynetworker-0.7/admin/missing --run automake-1.7 --gnu doc/Makefile
configure.in:39: version mismatch. This is Automake 1.7.9,
configure.in:39: but the definition used by this AM_INIT_AUTOMAKE
configure.in:39: comes from Automake 1.7.6. You should recreate
configure.in:39: aclocal.m4 with aclocal and run automake again.
make[2]: *** [Makefile.in] Error 1
make[2]: Leaving directory `/home/tanis/Downloads/Kde-Misc/ktraynetworker-0.7/doc'
make[1]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory `/home/tanis/Downloads/Kde-Misc/ktraynetworker-0.7'
make: *** [all] Error 2

What does this mean?

Thanks a lot

read. as you can see in the errormessage, you have to use aclocal to re-generate aclocal.m4.

I dont know how or what, but accidentally I saw this errormessage when building KDE 3.4 alpha 1 with konstruct. and i managed to get it fixed, (forgot how exactly) so you must be able to do so, too...

good luck

 this have compiled

I have compiled it executing aclocal, but now the application crashes. It may be connected with the new instalation i've done of a wireless card (ktraynetwork says it is an unknown network device, not recognized). The sigserv gives me this output:

Using host libthread_db library "/lib/libthread_db.so.1".
0x4cf849a8 in waitpid () from /lib/libpthread.so.0
#0 0x4cf849a8 in waitpid () from /lib/libpthread.so.0
#1 0x4dc8fd14 in ?? () from /usr/kde/3.2/lib/libkdecore.so.4
#2 0x4dbcb9a1 in KCrash::defaultCrashHandler(int) ()
from /usr/kde/3.2/lib/libkdecore.so.4
#3 0xbfffef80 in ?? (

Can you help me??

Thanks!!

Do you like or dislike Ubuntu Unity?
 Yes, unity is alien technology!
 It is less confusing than Gnome 3 default, shell.
 Granny thinks it is much more usable than Gnome 2
 Canonical is embarrasing itself with this split project
 Gnome 3 default shell is much better
 I dislike Unity, Gnome 3 default shell is alien technology!
 None of the above, I like the 2Gb for free and Apple alike behavior. Will post a comment instead
