Package KIO

   0.2

KDE Filemanager

Score 70%
Package KIO
zoom

Depends on  KDE 4.x
Downloads:  230
Submitted:  Jun 11 2009

Description:

This KIO slave lists files for an installed package. This makes it easy to find configuration files for a piece of software, find where space is being used or even simply to have a look at what is installed.

Once installed visiting package:/ will list all installed packages.
Visiting package:/amarok will list the files that are came from the Amarok package

The KIO depends on packagekit for its data so it should work with any Distro support packagekit.

 Open Suse

I had a report that it didn't list package contents on Suse 11.1. Any feedback on whether it does doesn't work, would be appreciated.

Do you like or dislike Ubuntu Unity?
 Yes, unity is alien technology!
It is less confusing than Gnome 3 default, shell.
Granny thinks it is much more usable than Gnome 2
Canonical is embarrasing itself with this split project
Gnome 3 default shell is much better
I dislike Unity, Gnome 3 default shell is alien technology!
None of the above, I like the 2Gb for free and Apple alike behavior. Will post a comment instead
