 Some thoughts

- There's no LICENSE file in the source package. It will be nice for packagers like me ;)

- When QEVEN encounters a problem or doesn't shut down correctly, it leaves the .qeven-lock directory which results when one starts it up again in a notification and it quits again so one always needs to delete this .qeven-lock directory before it can work again. THIS IS VERY ANNOYING AND SUBOPTIMAL

- QEVEN can't find mencoder by itself, even if it's installed in /usr/local/bin, thus it prompts you to specify it. Even when you do, upon next start, it again asks for mencoder. The path to mencoder should be put in QEVEn's config file. Again, the current way QEVEN does it is SUBOPTIMAL

- Default language is set to Spanish. Please recognize that much more people understand English than they do Spanish so QEVEN should default to English, not Spanish.

Hi GN, thanks for test QEVEN at least and for your feedback, we work for that, for our community.
-About License, sorry about that, it can be find in deb package but not in source package, it was a mistake I forgot it.
-About the Spanish, we know that, we will consider for the next update.
-And we will work to solve the other two errors that you mention us.
Thank you very much for your help and your suggestions.

No problem. Just thought you should know these issues as I've started packaging QEVEN for openSUSE and Fedora ;)

Do you like or dislike Ubuntu Unity?
 Yes, unity is alien technology!
It is less confusing than Gnome 3 default, shell.
Granny thinks it is much more usable than Gnome 2
Canonical is embarrasing itself with this split project
Gnome 3 default shell is much better
I dislike Unity, Gnome 3 default shell is alien technology!
None of the above, I like the 2Gb for free and Apple alike behavior. Will post a comment instead
