Description:

This is a XP style K Menu button. I made it for my wife's desktop. She still prefers XP over Linux, but she is making a slow transition. If this helps someone switch to Linux, then I have made a difference.

This works with the kbfx applet: http://www.kde-look.org/content/show.php?content=24898

Change whatever you want, and dont hear people that have nothing to suggest.

I am going to make a button with a photo from Milly Vanilly and Im going to put it in the kbfx applet :P , why? Because I can.

Power of choice, power of linux.

 ok but...

It doesn't resemble XP's start menu properly.

Color are perfect, the shape is not similar and an icon like "Tux" or "K" or "your distro" would be cool ;)

good try though.

It isn't suppose to be exactly like the XP Start button, only similar too. . .

Making an exact copy is copyright infringement. This is only suppose to be the same in thought, not exact appearance.

You simple download the tarball, unpack it somewhere on your drive ( any local folder ), then find the image and drag it to the kbfx applet on your kicker.

This is great. This is legal. You didn't take Microsoft's copyrighted work, instead you made your own. You are keeping KDE clean.

How do you like Plasma 5?
 The best KDE Desktop ever.
 Definitely a nice improvement.
Not decided yet. Haven't tried it yet.
I do not like some of the changes.
KDE is taking the wrong way.
I am still sticking with KDE 3.5.
I have no opinion, but wanted to vote anyway.
