Description:

Ksetiwatch is a monitoring tool for the SETI@home distributed computing project, which searches for signals of extraterrestrial life. It displays the state of the Seti@home client(s) running on your computer or in your local network, and logs/manages completed work units.

Features:

* monitors as many clients as you want
* docks into KDE's panel
* notifies you when new high signals occur
* automatically logs the results of completed work units
* automatically logs all interesting signals returned to the SETI@home server, including their profile for a graphical representation
* displays lists of completed work units and interesting signals
* is fully compatible to SETIWatch log files
* shows currently processed work units as well as logged WUs on a sky map
* starts and stops SETI@home clients; clients can be run with configurable settings
* offers detailed status display (running, stopped, finished, connecting, loading)
* shows Gaussian, pulse, triplet, and telescope path graphs

Changelog:

* When minimized to the system tray, closing Ksetiwatch was impossible (with KDE 3.4).

* Fixed some system tray icon issues.

* The labels for 'Client settings' and 'WU logging' were mixed up in the configuration dialog.

* Added a dutch translation, and updated several existing translations (thanks again to the KDE i18n teams).

How do you like Plasma 5?
 The best KDE Desktop ever.
 Definitely a nice improvement.
Not decided yet. Haven't tried it yet.
I do not like some of the changes.
KDE is taking the wrong way.
I am still sticking with KDE 3.5.
I have no opinion, but wanted to vote anyway.
