No Problem,

build one for yourself:
1. Download sources.
2. unpack
3. dh_make
4. login as root
5. dpkg-buildpackage -us -uc
6. dpkg -i packagename.deb

For further Informations take a look in google.com/linux.
you'll need fakeroot too.

Care to elaborate? I have the same problem, but do not see a way to change the file format/extension.

 patch for konserve

by hoernerfranz on: Jul 14 2007

konserve is great - I just had a little annoyance with it with regard to backups on a network, in case the server is not available. So I made a new version to fix this.
anyone interested can find it at
http://www.hoernerfranzracing.de/kde/konserve.html - feel free to use it/comment on it.
(and yes, I tried to contact the original author for coordination, but no luck)

 skip directory

by reggler on: Jun 22 2008

Score 50%

Hi,

I got Konserve: 0.10.3 well working under my opensuse 10.3 but i got a little question about making backups:
Is it possible to somehow skip a subdirectory? E.g. let's say I want to backup my whole home directory but not a specific directory located in my homedir. Is this possible or no?

Thank you!

How do you like Plasma 5?
 The best KDE Desktop ever.
 Definitely a nice improvement.
Not decided yet. Haven't tried it yet.
I do not like some of the changes.
KDE is taking the wrong way.
I am still sticking with KDE 3.5.
I have no opinion, but wanted to vote anyway.
