Description:

See the changelog below for details.

Because this is somewhat experimental software please leave a comment if voting a dislike.

There was some talk about the usability of the KDE calculator some time ago. I had actually begun playing with Bizcalc for my use and to demonstrate Kommander weeks before that. Bizcalc does basic math expressions and creates a "paper tape" record, not only of the results of the calculations, but of the actual calculations. You can use parenthesis and it does floating point. Here is a list of features.

- displays "paper tape" of calculations
- stores input formulas as well as totals
- allows for correct notation and nesting in parenthesis
- can edit selected item
- can delete selected item
- maintains a running total
- can save and load content (tab and EOL sparated list)
- exports to CSV
- exports to CSV with quotes
- exports to HTML
- exports to Kugar report which can be saved or printed
- automatically grows grid to effectively unlimited length.

NOTE: This requires Kommander as shipped with kdewebdev 3.5.9! Also note that this is a user editable program. You can change anything in this program by just opening it in the Kommander editor that ships with Kommander. If you add something good please send me a copy.

Enjoy!

Changelog:

Version 0.5
This is a rewrite where mostly it's new parser. Also the following was changed.
- now uses table instead of detail widget
- real about dialog
- context menu
- multi cell copy and paste
- asks if you want to save when loading or quitting

Version 0.4
This is a rewrite as a MainWindow. Mostly this makes things more usable with a more rational interface.
- tests if we should save a file before opening a new one
- adds search capability
- reverses the column order
- makes columns full width
Version 0.3.1
Fixed dialog so an error does not show indicating non numeric content when a decimal point is present.

How do you like Plasma 5?
 The best KDE Desktop ever.
 Definitely a nice improvement.
Not decided yet. Haven't tried it yet.
I do not like some of the changes.
KDE is taking the wrong way.
I am still sticking with KDE 3.5.
I have no opinion, but wanted to vote anyway.
