nice work ;-)

could you maybe add this view to the picture preview in konqueror??? I'm talking about the border around the pics, its very cool. maybe make it a bit smaller (it wastes quite some space now) but the shadow is very cool :D

and this info on the left, you might add something like this to the KDE file open/save dialog, so it gives more info about the pics. And does it allow changing these parameters? would be very cool...

to say it in short: I love to see some of these things in KDE, but another showimg/showfoto/gwenview/kuickshow/etc etc might be overkill... why not send a patch to their authors? esp gwenview is very cool, maybe you can improve that app?

after all, the point of free software is you can colaborate on software, send patches, and change things instead of building someting *again* because you can't use the source of another app...

Sorry ;-) I can't help. I only posted the package! you must contact the original developer, Hasanen Nawfal (hasanen at iraqilinux dot com). BTW, he lives in Iraq and runs the local Linux User Group (the only one in that country)...

Create a directory for QV and put inside the qv binary (a file called just qv) and the icons directory. Then run the qv file.

 running QV

Here are some instructions from the developer himself:

"some ppl find problem running the program , because it
will not work if u start it using "./qv" from the
shell , actually , i did it alot of coding trying to
make it run by just clicking it from any file manager
(just like windows) and it can know it current path
(with linux it need some code to make your program
know where it's installed in the file system)."

Hi. Since this package is no longer updated/mantained and the developer's webpage vanished long time ago, I uploaded the source to kde-apps. You have a new download link now.

Sorry, I mean "Changed" not "Changeld". It's a typo

How do you like Plasma 5?
 The best KDE Desktop ever.
 Definitely a nice improvement.
Not decided yet. Haven't tried it yet.
I do not like some of the changes.
KDE is taking the wrong way.
I am still sticking with KDE 3.5.
I have no opinion, but wanted to vote anyway.
