Depends on  Gambas 2.x
Downloads:  328
Submitted:  Dec 9 2005

Description:

GamProof2 is my second try at a powerful digital contact sheet generator. It is written using Gambas 2 and requires ImageMagick.

Processes single folders or lists (built with the list manager) and can work recursively.

Saves contact sheets in same folder as images or anywhere else you specify.

Allows automatic or custom page annotations & auto thumbnail labelling.

Makes multiple pages of fixed size thumbnails or will auto-scale all images in a single folder onto one page.

Sheets A6 to A2, CD case insert and US letter sheet specs provided, but easily add custom sizes with the size editor.

There are currently a few small non-critical bugs which I am fixing. Please let me know of any you find.
\\\"Release early - release often!\\\"

Planned additions include:
Metric and imperial sizes
\\\\\\\"Maxiumum thumbnails per page\\\\\\\" mode in place of current \\\\\\\"fit to page\\\\\\\" mode for better recursive working.
Autodetection of need to update existing contact sheets so that recursive updates can be done intelligently.

Let me know if you want other functions.

 Don't get it

Sorry for being dumb but I don't get what exactly this program does. May you put a screenshot of one of the resulting images? Does simply creates a list of files in a directory in a easily printable and good looking way?

Do a search on digital contact sheet generator and you will find the answer. Its a system used by photographers to manage large numbers of images.

Do you like or dislike Ubuntu Unity?
 Yes, unity is alien technology!
It is less confusing than Gnome 3 default, shell.
Granny thinks it is much more usable than Gnome 2
Canonical is embarrasing itself with this split project
Gnome 3 default shell is much better
I dislike Unity, Gnome 3 default shell is alien technology!
None of the above, I like the 2Gb for free and Apple alike behavior. Will post a comment instead
