Changelog:

[2010-09-30[ BasKet 2.0 Beta 2 Released

BasKet 2.0 Beta 2 has been released by Matt Rogers. Go get it!

[2010-03-23] BasKet 2.0 Beta 1 Released

The BasKet project is proud to announce the release of version 2.0 beta 1. This version serves as a pre-release version for developers and distributors and should not be considered suitable for a production system. BasKet 2.0 will be a new major release which brings Qt4 and KDE 4 compatibility to BasKet and paves the way for future releases which take advantage of KDE 4 technologies such as Akonadi and Nepomuk. Due to the pervasive nature of these changes, there may be inevitable bugs in some features of the new release. However, the new version is in many ways more stable and robust than previous releases (especially when running on the KDE 4 platform) and users are recommended to switch to the new version when it comes out.

We hope to release version 2.0 within a few months.

Previous versions of BasKet, which depended on KDE 3 libraries, are now considered deprecated and will no longer be maintained.

Love this application! It's a very good for any kind of note!

One thing i would like is a "grid mode" in free-form to make it more easy to line up notes. That's to difficult now.

Thanks for the app!

 Kontact integration

Great app, but there is a big problem with Kontact integration.
After installing Basket, Kontact crashes when launching, if basket isn't running (if basket is running, all is ok).
At least with openSuse 10.2 (installed with rpm on the repositories).
Please check this serious bug, I've to delete libkontact_basket from /opt/kde3/libs/kde to workaround this bug.
Ah, obviously there is a feedbak on bugs.kde.org for this bug

Keep up the good work!

You should have:
libgpgme11-dev for encyption and
kdepim-devfor kontact integration

installed in kubuntu to have full features of BasKet

Do you like or dislike Ubuntu Unity?
 Yes, unity is alien technology!
It is less confusing than Gnome 3 default, shell.
Granny thinks it is much more usable than Gnome 2
Canonical is embarrasing itself with this split project
Gnome 3 default shell is much better
I dislike Unity, Gnome 3 default shell is alien technology!
None of the above, I like the 2Gb for free and Apple alike behavior. Will post a comment instead
