For KIso 0.7 please make sure that your version of libcdio is at least the libcdio 0.70 please do not use libcdio 0.71 because it's not compatible with C++.

It's not easy to compile your soft on my Debian. My hair are falling. On debian you have only the 0.68 packages for the runtime and dev libcdio. You said me KIso needs 0.70 at least. So I try to compile libcdio and it would not compile:

checking linux/version.h presence... yes
checking for linux/version.h... yes
checking linux/cdrom.h usability... no
checking linux/cdrom.h presence... yes
configure: WARNING: linux/cdrom.h: present but cannot be compiled

configure: WARNING: linux/cdrom.h: section "Present But Cannot Be Compiled"
configure: WARNING: linux/cdrom.h: proceeding with the preprocessor's result
configure: WARNING: linux/cdrom.h: in the future, the compiler will take precedence

checking for linux/cdrom.h... yes
checking for bzero... yes

Someone has a de pckage of the last Kiso package? :-)

 Configure fails KDE

Seems like a great program, but.
On SuSE 9.2 Professional, installing v0.7b the ./configure program fails with this message:

checking for KDE... configure: error:
in the prefix, you've chosen, are no KDE headers installed. This will fail.
So, check thisplease and use another prefix.

The default prefix is as far as I can read /opt/kde3, which is where KDE is installed default in SUSE. Run rest of KDE perfectly without problems.
Anyone, please?

If you can't compile KIso yourself try the SuSE 9.2 rpm on http://pub.stoma.ro

Tried the SuSE 9.2 RPM. Installs successfully, but complains that libiso9660.so.2 and libcdio.so.0 are missing.
However, I do have libiso9660.so.3 and libcdio.so.3 - is it safe to symlink libcdio.so.0 to 3, and same with libiso9660 ?

Why does it ask for .2 and .0 of files, rather than .3 which seems to be SuSE default?

Thanks again for the quick and helpful help here. Much appreciated!

UPDATE:
Seems that when I symlink, it complains that it needs v2 while mine (which is symlinked to .2) reports .3 and thus won't work...

The reason for this error is a change in the libcdio 0.73.
Yes, there will be a new version.
I hope I will be able to release KIso 0.8 within the next few days.

How do you like Plasma 5?
 The best KDE Desktop ever.
 Definitely a nice improvement.
Not decided yet. Haven't tried it yet.
I do not like some of the changes.
KDE is taking the wrong way.
I am still sticking with KDE 3.5.
I have no opinion, but wanted to vote anyway.
