Now it's giving another error:

Seems to be an incompatibility between your version of libiconv and libcdio 0.73.
As far as I can see the newest version of libiconv is 1.9.2.
Maybe an update solves the problem.
If not this rather seems to be a bug in libcdio or libiconv than in KIso.

im using Suse 9.3 and getting the following:

make[2]: *** [kiso.o] Error 1
make[2]: Leaving directory `/home/***/kiso-0.8/src'
make[1]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory `/home/***/kiso-0.8'
make: *** [all] Error 2
***:/home/rnd/kiso-0.8 #

it came up with a whole load of other "error" type messages before that.

Well the output from the configure and make is rather long. Which areas would help?

If you only want to mount an ISO image just right click on it and than try Actions/KIso/Mount as virtual drive.

 KIso 0.8+deb testing

Yes, KIso 0.8 needs cdio V0.73, fine, but there is no cdio-0.73 for Debian right now (just the ugly V 0.71...).
So there won't be a way for me to use it, but anyway I liked your previous versions ;-)

If there is no deb, is there a reason why you can't compile libcdio 0.73 from sources ?

No, I didn't try to build it on my own. I'm a little bit afraid with such "special packages" that may affect the OS in some deeper way.

 KIO Slave

Are you able to make a kio slave for ISO files ?

It will be an awesome feature for KDE, and KISO will be certainly better integrated in the main part of the KDE System

How do you like Plasma 5?
 The best KDE Desktop ever.
 Definitely a nice improvement.
Not decided yet. Haven't tried it yet.
I do not like some of the changes.
KDE is taking the wrong way.
I am still sticking with KDE 3.5.
I have no opinion, but wanted to vote anyway.
