A port to OpenZaurus would be interesting

the program hardly uses any KDE functions, but almost QT only, so it should not be too difficult to port it...

as well.

I'm in the process of making one.

Think Snes9x's interface (menubar, game in window) -- but it will be completely universal. Use Visualboyadvance / fceultra / snes9x / mame / probably DOSEmu / whatever.
I long for the universal front end the way I want it (game-in-emulator-window) for KDE.

This is very cool, I never knew it was possible before. It's also got a very nice UI!

Congratulations =) Especially since I like those GameBoy games as much as most Linux games =p Except for a few exceptions like Frozen Bubble, RTCW: Enemy Territory, Tron, KBounce,Tux Racer, and maybe one or two others. But it really doesn't compare to the number of GameBoy games.

When I do the make it give me an error:

...

There is a version for QT 3.1? I'm using Mandrake 9.2 with KDE 3.1.3 and QT 3.1.2

well as it says the version of uic you are using is older than mine... which is strange... this program even compiles on a Lindows 4.5 machine which has KDE 3.0.x version only, so its QT must be older than yours.
are you just doing ./configure, make, make install?

cheers - peter

Yes, I only do ./configure and make, and my Qt is the last found in the Mandrake repository.

Using google I found more people with a similar problem, for example http://lists.trolltech.com/qt-interest/2003-12/thread01313-0.html

Maybe are you using Qt 3.2?

that is for sure... but as I said the very same source compiles on Lindows, which uses a year old QT release... strange.

hi,

you should think about using layout handlers since the text doesn't fit into the window on my system. this can be seen on these screenshots:

anyway, thanks for this application.

I'd been wanting something like this, since dealing with the command line anytime I want to load a rom is a bit ridiculous.

I think the textboxes for path and game directory should be editable, since it's just silly not to. Also, I want to run VBA through artsdsp, but the loader isn't accepting that as a valid command even when I manually put it in the configuration file.

Other things that would be nice are more of VBA's options, especially things like BIOS file and controller settings.

Would be nice, if you posted the controls here (or on the website), as they aren't described in the README.

How do you like Plasma 5?
 The best KDE Desktop ever.
 Definitely a nice improvement.
Not decided yet. Haven't tried it yet.
I do not like some of the changes.
KDE is taking the wrong way.
I am still sticking with KDE 3.5.
I have no opinion, but wanted to vote anyway.
