 Good tool

This is cool. The best replacement for the kicker yet. Can you tell me what setting might be altered to make the dock wider? I realize it expands with more icons. I'd like to make the arc a little flatter. This thing is pretty good.
Thanx for a cool way to clean up my desktop.

 Bug found

by peppelorum on: May 23 2004

Really nice application, unlike all the other mac-os-taskbar-copies this actually scales the images without killing my computer (Athlon 2500+, Matrox G550, 1GB RAM), the scaling works just fine.

One small thing though, I use Xinerama (two screens with different resolution) and when I start kooldock I can just see half of it. If I then enable "Xinerama support" it disappears with the message "kooldock: Installing crash handler"

If you want any more specific debugging just say the word, wave a hand or something;-)

Yes, thats not an error, but a feature :)
KoolDock should now appear centered on your left/primary monitor (as if you only have one monitor).

My left monitor has a lower resolution than my right one, can this have something to do with it? Cause I can't see Kooldock at all when I enable the feature, is this because it believes that my right monitor is bigger than it actually is(kooldock locates itself in the wrong position)?

My primary monitor is the one to the right so it would be nice if you could choose which one it should appear on. If you check out Kcontrol->Peripherals->Display you can choose which monitor you want to be your primary, you can also see what resolution the two displays are running at, would be nice if this controlled where and how Kooldock would appear.

Thanks again for a nice app, hope to see this "feature" get even better;-)

I think that we should rewrite the xinerama workaround

It's too basic and don't works well with different resolutions.

Yes we should, I never thought of the possibility of two different resolutions :S

Rightclick on icon > Edit Item > Under Tab "program" (don't know if this is the exact name of the tab in english) > "extended options" (the same problem as before) > choose "run as different user"

So, what was your problem again? ;-)

Do you like or dislike Ubuntu Unity?
 Yes, unity is alien technology!
It is less confusing than Gnome 3 default, shell.
Granny thinks it is much more usable than Gnome 2
Canonical is embarrasing itself with this split project
Gnome 3 default shell is much better
I dislike Unity, Gnome 3 default shell is alien technology!
None of the above, I like the 2Gb for free and Apple alike behavior. Will post a comment instead
