Description:

KNemo - the KDE Network Monitor

A detailed review of the KNemo 0.4.7 can be found at Softpedia:
http://www.softpedia.com/reviews/linux/KNemo-Review-53310.shtml

KNemo offers a network monitor similar to the one found in Windows. For every network interface it displays an icon in the systray. It can also optionally montor traffic statistics.

Changelog:

Version 0.7.6
  • Tweak the dialogs to make them a bit more compact

  • Make the traffic plotter widgets behave more like those in the KDE System Monitor

  • Fix a few minor bugs that gave us wrong values in the traffic plotter range

  • LicenseGPL

You can find the configuration for KNemo in the control center module under Internet & Network/Network Monitor.

Thank u much for this nice application. If u add options start, stop and restart network interfaces, and show average speed daily or whatever it will be wonderful program.

If you take a closer look at the third screenshot you will see that you can add your custom commands to start, stop or restart any interface.

It would be nice if KNemo would periodically save its logs instead of just when you log off incase of crashes and power outages (both of which happened to me yesterday ;-) )

Thanks for your suggestion. KNemo 0.4.1 will have a timer that saves the logs periodically.

Do you like or dislike Ubuntu Unity?
     Yes, unity is alien technology!
It is less confusing than Gnome 3 default, shell.
Granny thinks it is much more usable than Gnome 2
Canonical is embarrasing itself with this split project
Gnome 3 default shell is much better
I dislike Unity, Gnome 3 default shell is alien technology!
None of the above, I like the 2Gb for free and Apple alike behavior. Will post a comment instead
