Seriously, this is one kick-ass application. It may sound simple or trivial, but I can definately see where this tool where be quite handy.

Excellent idea and very good job! :D

This app is just great - simple, and does its job perfectly. Maybe implementation into KOffice/Kontact wouldn't be a bad idea?

Adding a menuitem to KAddressbook would be great. But since KAddressbook doesn't have servicemenus, one would have to patch KAdressbook.

 Kile plugin?

Hi, great application. I just finished writing some letters in Kile this morning and was wondering whether there wasn't an easier way. This would really be a useful plugin for Kile. Do you have any plans in that direction? Thanks anyway: writing letters in LaTeX will never be the same again...

Do I really neet qt3.3? It isn't even in "unstable".
(works great on Gentoo though - a real killer app!)

You don't need qt3.3. qt3.2 ist alright.
But the layout was made with qt-designer 3.3
You have to edit src/*.ui and change the version in the first line.

Next release will be with changed version-tags.

great - it worked now. Seems as if only klwBinariesFormBase.ui had to be adjusted.

Yes, I this is the only ui-File I edited, since i changed all these lines the last time. Quite annoying having to change the lines everytime before a new version.

 Feature Request

by chrisfhd on: Jun 30 2004

I really like this useful tool :)

But I would like it even more if I could select some "letter themes".
Is there any way to implement this?

The letter is generated using latex.
If you want another "theme", you will need a latex-class implementing this.
I am currently working on a latex class, but this is very difficult and could take some time.
But your idea is nice and I will try to implement it.

Thanks

Installed on Mandrake 10. Received following error after clicking on Preview tab:

Unable to run the command specified. The file or folder file:/tmp/kde-ccarroll/kletterwizard4CiY19/tmp.ps does not exist.

Looks like a great app though.

Looks like that's the problem...no g-brief.cls anywhere...I guess I'll try and track it down...

How do you like Plasma 5?
 The best KDE Desktop ever.
 Definitely a nice improvement.
Not decided yet. Haven't tried it yet.
I do not like some of the changes.
KDE is taking the wrong way.
I am still sticking with KDE 3.5.
I have no opinion, but wanted to vote anyway.
