Yes the settings for the script do appear in amarok but no moodbar files are generated for songs/podcasts I play.

Try to run "amarok -d --debug". Is there any output with text "SCRIPT "Moodbar Generator""? You may use http://sourceforge.net/projects/moodbar/files/moodbar_generator-v0.52.amarokscript.tar.gz/download before I find solution for this.

Seems like it does work. I removed a few mood files from my playlist and started amarok in debug mode and it generated the moodbar files. But it doesn't seem to generate any mood files for my podcasts I've downloaded though.

Yes, script can't generate moodfiles for podcasts. All generate work is on moodbar program. You can try to do it with "moodbar" command; if it can generate files for podcasts somehow, I think it possible to add this feature to script.

The older versions of the script were able to do this though.

Are you sure, that it was version 0.52? I've only changed "moodbar -o mood path" to "nice -n 19 moodbar -o mood path", but it was in earlier version. Please, try to test version 0.52 once again.

No it wasn't working in 0.52 or the version before that. I was using this one

http://opendesktop.org/content/show.php/Moodbar+Generator+%5BDEPRECATED%5D?content=125137

before and it worked there with podcasts. So maybe I'm confusing the two. But it would be nice if it could make mood files for podcasts also at least when they are playing.

Hm, maybe you can give me one of podcast files? I think my script is wrong in filename check, or something else.

Here is one of the rss feeds I listen to

http://smodcast.smodcast.libsynpro.com/rss

just to put it in the Amarok rss rweader and let it download one of the files in the feed. They are around 40 to 60 MB in size.

I don't realize how script can do it. I tried to use old script with this podcast, it try to create "/smodcast/.SModcast-76.mood" and then I run amarok again it can't find any moodfiles for this podcast.

I've Amarok build from GIT and your script installed. Moodfiles are generated, but don't result in colored timeline.

I get an error when trying to generate moodbars. I previously used the script on the command line via a sh script. But since upgrading to opensuse 12.1 that script no longer works.

Amarok version: 2.4.3
KDE version: 4.7.2
OpenSuse 12.1 64-bit

Error:

How do you like Plasma 5?
 The best KDE Desktop ever.
 Definitely a nice improvement.
Not decided yet. Haven't tried it yet.
I do not like some of the changes.
KDE is taking the wrong way.
I am still sticking with KDE 3.5.
I have no opinion, but wanted to vote anyway.
