For graphical\standard install you may use this way:
Panel Tool Box -- Add Widgets -- Get New Widgets -- Download...
In new window select plasmaMailChecker.

For manual install:
1. Download zip.
2. Move it in user home directory (/home/$USER).
3. Unzip ( if you have a previous version, the unpacker will ask permission to replace files ):

unzip -d ./plasmaMailChecker plasmaMailChecker.zip

4. Install :
a) clean :

plasmapkg -i ./plasmaMailChecker

b) if there were previous versions:

plasmapkg -u ./plasmaMailChecker

c) if the previous version incorrectly retired:

plasmapkg -r ./plasmaMailChecker && plasmapkg -i ./plasmaMailChecker

The login && password must contain only utf-8 chars or digits.
I hope that mailserver and port you have correctly.
New account saved by "Add", edit account saved by "Save" .
If you edit account, then enter password every time (this error I will fix soon).

Will be good to see new mail title, date and "from" fields on popup, like the thunderbird do.

And add akonadi mail resource for checking new mail, because it already connected to mail server and we will not needed to initiate new connection.

Sorry, KDE-notification must contain this information. It enabled default.
And as I understood, you want to plasmoid imported mail accounts from Akonadi?

I didn't see it in screenshots, therefore I wasn't think that it exists. I try to install and look.

No, not import the mailbox config. Much better is connect directly to akonadi mail messages database and catch events with new mail, because akonadi support IMAP-IDLE (something like push notifications) and it receive new messages without connecting to server and asking new mail with periodic time.

So, you don't need to initiate connections, you must only switch account to "online" in akonadi and wait "new mail" events.

Here you can look at akonadi api:
http://api.kde.org/4.x-api/kdepimlibs-apidocs/akonadi/html/index.html#libakonadi_resource

You can use Akonadi::Monitor class:
http://api.kde.org/4.x-api/kdepimlibs-apidocs/akonadi/html/classAkonadi_1_1Monitor.html

function Akonadi::Monitor::itemAdded

Also will be good to add feature for easy disable-enable check per account without deleting it (checkbox "active" in settings).

I configure plasmoid to check gmail mailbox via imap, but after each check it marks all messages as read.
How I can disable this?

How do you like Plasma 5?
 The best KDE Desktop ever.
 Definitely a nice improvement.
 Not decided yet. Haven't tried it yet.
 I do not like some of the changes.
 KDE is taking the wrong way.
 I am still sticking with KDE 3.5.
 I have no opinion, but wanted to vote anyway.
