Hello,

I don't have a PC with Windows 98 available, but well, you can't request too much from such an operating system... In my opinion you should simply stop using it.

Regards,
Ion

Hi Ion.
I found a digitizer project called engauge digitizer(http://digitizer.sourceforge.net/)
Do you know? Well, this is programming with qt. Will it be possible to add this application to qtiplot? Is a good programm and it performs a usefull task for people that use qtiplot too.
Is only an idea.
See you and thanks

 cannot find -lgsl

Hello, I found out recently about this program while searching a replacement for xmgr(I need Qt application). As I could read in the manual this is exactly what I need but unfortunately I still can't test it.

I have all the libraries that are need Qt, Qwt (5.0.0), QwtPlot3D, GSL, muParser, zlib (1.2.3), and liborigin

While compiling QtiPlot I am getting this result:
/usr/lib/gcc-lib/i586-suse-linux/3.3.4/../../../../i586-suse-linux/bin/ld: cannot find -lgsl

What is cosing this problem...

I am looking forward to start using this application.

Thank You in advance,
Kiril

Hello,

The error message tells you that the linker can not find the GSL library. You must edit the qtiplot.pro file in order to specify the correct location of libgsl on your computer.

Hope theis helps,
Ion

 use socket or pipe

Hello,
I am looking trough the classes and I am trying to find out how is the data structure of QtiPlot. Is there a documentation?

What I need is to know how can I create a new 2D Plot that contain one graph, title, legend, name of X/Y axes and scale the X/Y axes

As I have seen QtiPlot doesn't use sockets or pipes so I will create socket that will help me to send data from my application to QtiPlot. But first I need to know how can I create this graph

Could you help me?

Kiril

Hello,

For the moment it's not possible to pipe data into QtiPlot and I don't know how to implement this yet. If you are able to do this, it would be also useful if you sent me the code, so that I can add this feature to QtiPlot.

You can build the documentation for the QtiPlot API using doxygen and the corresponding config file "Doxyfile" in the archive. Unfortunatelly the API is not very well documented yet.

Hope this helps,
Ion

How do you like Plasma 5?
 The best KDE Desktop ever.
 Definitely a nice improvement.
Not decided yet. Haven't tried it yet.
I do not like some of the changes.
KDE is taking the wrong way.
I am still sticking with KDE 3.5.
I have no opinion, but wanted to vote anyway.
