An interesting approach. Fun to play around with. Thanks for the great work !

---
I got a linkage error on my openSUSE-12.1(using Qt-4.8):

Linking CXX executable limoo
/usr/lib64/gcc/x86_64-suse-linux/4.6/../../../../x86_64-suse-linux/bin/ld: CMakeFiles/limoo.dir/qtsingleapplication/qtlocalpeer.cpp.o: undefined reference to symbol 'QLocalSocket::connectToServer(QString const&, QFlags<QIODevice::OpenModeFlag>)'

Fixed it by adding libQtNetwork to the list of qt libraries to link against:
Change line 44 in CMakeLists.txt:
<target_link_libraries( limoo ${QT_QTCORE_LIBRARY} ${QT_QTGUI_LIBRARY} ${QT_QTDECLARATIVE_LIBRARY} )
>target_link_libraries( limoo ${QT_QTCORE_LIBRARY} ${QT_QTGUI_LIBRARY} ${QT_QTDECLARATIVE_LIBRARY} ${QT_QTNETWORK_LIBRARY} )

Have fun !

You might want to take a look at the great 'Open Build System' (OBS) by openSUSE.

It is kind of a double-virtualized compiler farm everyone can use to generate and provide installation packages for some linux distributions and versions. You upload your source code and a spec file, the system generates packages, informs you about the progress and keeps those packages up to date whenever any build dependency changes. You can even auto-integrate those packages on all freedesktop.org sites like this one here. Easily gives you high quality packages for distributions you don't want to install locally.

Enjoy !

 Latin character 'ñ'

Hi, great app!
I have a problem with filenames that include a character, for example, 'ñ'

----------------------
terminate called after throwing an instance of 'Exiv2::BasicError<char>'
what(): Cumpleaos.jpg: Failed to open the data source: (errno = 84)
Abortado (`core' generado)
----------------------

In this case, the filename es "Cumpleaños.jpg"

This app is great. Very easy to browse through the folders. The only thing that would make this perfect is a option to disable the animations. Thanks for this great app :)

Do you like or dislike Ubuntu Unity?
 Yes, unity is alien technology!
It is less confusing than Gnome 3 default, shell.
Granny thinks it is much more usable than Gnome 2
Canonical is embarrasing itself with this split project
Gnome 3 default shell is much better
I dislike Unity, Gnome 3 default shell is alien technology!
None of the above, I like the 2Gb for free and Apple alike behavior. Will post a comment instead
