looks great! any chance to make it check Nvidia GPU can be added - that would be great (eg. via nvidia-smi) .. i personally prefer to see temp reading in panel instead of have a conky onscreen where apps cover it - in panel you see it all the time . ..

Thanx

I myself am an ArchLinux user, but I'll have a look at it though... It should not be difficult to build a .deb

Great ! Maybe that can help you https://community.kde.org/Plasma/PortingQMLPlasmoids

It will be good if you can keep the compatibility with plasma 4 in addition to plasma 5 because plasma 5 is not as good as plasma 4 for now, it need a few more month.

Looks very nice in the panel, and the color changing is very useful. I wonder if you could add this feature: Being able to run or terminate some script that you choose when some temperatures are reached. For example this nvidia script for adaptative fan control:
http://pastebin.ca/3057324
For example: Being able to choose that when the temperature reaches 60 °C then plasmoid start the script. And if the temperature drops below 45 °C the plasmoid stop the script.

How do you like Plasma 5?
 The best KDE Desktop ever.
 Definitely a nice improvement.
Not decided yet. Haven't tried it yet.
I do not like some of the changes.
KDE is taking the wrong way.
I am still sticking with KDE 3.5.
I have no opinion, but wanted to vote anyway.
