Description:

Update: first bugfix release for 4.3 is out

New stable release for ktorrent and libktorrent.

The biggest changes since the 4.2 release include:
- Reintroduction of a tabbed torrent list widget, though a bit different then the old tab widget from the 4.1 days.
- Improved support for magnet links
- Support for removable storage
- A whole bunch of bugfixes and smaller improvements over ktorrent 4.2

For a full overview of all changes, take a look in the ChangeLog files included with the source code.

If you have problems or feature requests you can go to bugs.kde.org, or just ask around on our forums http://ktorrent.org/forum

 Not working :(

It is not working on my Slackware Current :(
I got the .tgz package from your official site and even burned it on a blank CD with some other nice stuff.
Well is requires some libstdc++.so.6
And I have ...so.5
I tried to create a symbolic link and to cheat it this way, but... no success :(

 looks different?

Are those screenshots still up to date? I have installed it, the about box gives me 1.2-rc1 as version number, but it has no search tab, and in the configure dialog there is a "Plugins" page instead of a "Search" page, with no plugins listed. Is this correct? And is there a search plugin that I can download somewhere? I really liked that functionality.

You should have search plugin listed in "Plugins" dialog along with couple of other plugins. Did you 'make install' if you installed from source? Or maybe you used some precompiled package?

 the Search tab!!

I was going to compile a package of this new version and upload it to the repo, but when I saw that there isnt the Seacrh function anymore,I decided to stick with the older version.

Are you going to remove the search tab for the final release?
Please, put it back there,it was one of the greatest highlights of this app!Do you know how hard it is to find such function for linux?

I liked all settings options in the search ability, but you could add the option to open search results with Opera or Firefox If you decide to put it right back for the next release.

Seriously,I stuck using your app only because of this function and you are removing it?

EDIT:
Sry,I just compiled it and saw that its still there lol.I made a package.

Good job.
Anyway, you can make it open the search results in a sepparate opera or firefox browser in the next version. Its a good idea.

I'm behind a router, so I can't use ktorrent.

Do you like or dislike Ubuntu Unity?
 Yes, unity is alien technology!
It is less confusing than Gnome 3 default, shell.
Granny thinks it is much more usable than Gnome 2
Canonical is embarrasing itself with this split project
Gnome 3 default shell is much better
I dislike Unity, Gnome 3 default shell is alien technology!
None of the above, I like the 2Gb for free and Apple alike behavior. Will post a comment instead
