Description:

For news about kdesvn see now http://kdesvn.alwins-world.de

kdesvn is a subversion client using the native subversion delevelopment API instead of just parsing the output of the commandline tool like most other clients do.

It tries to setup a look and feel like the standard filemanager of KDE and is integrated into it via KPart.

The base C++ interface to subversion I took from the (real great) tool Rapidsvn (see http://rapidsvn.tigris.org/) with some modifcations and fixes.

When interested in getting the source from scratch:

http://anongit.kde.org/kdesvn
(do a git clone http://anongit.kde.org/kdesvn)

Comments are welcome. You may use the bugtracker https://bugs.kde.org/enter_bug.cgi?product=kdesvn
for reporting bugs or request features missing.

Your programming speed is amazing. Keep up the good work! Maybe think about intigrating a kdevelop plugin?

Keep it up!

thanks for this great application!
its the best svn-client for linux!

(konqueror-integration would be cool... and perhaps a icon-overlay like tortoisesvn has it :D)

you should mention in README or INSTALL that this package depends on the Apache Portable Runtime and the Subversion headers (including NEON)

On Debian/Unstable, I had to install libsvn0-dev, libapr0-dev and apache2-utils.

For gentoo users:

http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=101450

There is an ebuild for it. Installation instructions:

in portage overlay:
mkdir /usr/local/portage/dev-util/kdesvn

copy the ebuild to that directory.

cd /usr/local/portage/dev-util/kdesvn
ebuild kdesvn-0.4.1.ebuild digest

add to /etc/portage/package.unmask

emerge kdesvn

happy kdesvn!!! :)

Keep the work going dude.

How do you like Plasma 5?
 The best KDE Desktop ever.
 Definitely a nice improvement.
Not decided yet. Haven't tried it yet.
I do not like some of the changes.
KDE is taking the wrong way.
I am still sticking with KDE 3.5.
I have no opinion, but wanted to vote anyway.
