I can successfully compile this software. But I can't execute it. I got following message:

kradio: could not connect to socket
kradio: No such file or directory
    kradio: mixer.c:669: snd_mixer_first_elem: Assertion `mixer' failed.
    KCrash: Application 'kradio' crashing...

Could someone can tell me what happened?

That's really strange. What ALSA version are you using?

I am sorry. I made a mistake. This software needs a hardware radio card. But I don't have it.
Ans my ALSA version is 1.06.

It's probably my mistake but when i try to install the app runing ./configure after a few lines I get the message:

    "checking for KDE... configure: error:
in the prefix, you've chosen, are no KDE headers installed. This will fail.
So, check this please and use another prefix!

I'm using mandriva 2005 LE with kde 3.3

    Thank you for any ideas.

    kde-config --prefix
then copy the output (eg. /usr/kde/3.5/) and run
    ./configure --prefix=[your output]

    This will work. Cheers

Sorry, I've just realised this is a known fault with uic from qt 3.3.5. Sorry for the noise.

No, no noise. You are right. There were wrong include-hint entries in the .ui files (aside from a typo in configure.in.in which prevented the correct installation of plugins).

snapshot 2005_12_04 should fix these issues.

    Best regards, Martin

It would be really nice if you add support for hotkeys. My USB remote registers itself as a keyboard/mouse, so it's much easier using hotkeys instead of going through the ordeal of configuring lirc etc. Kaffeine has hotkeys support, and it works out for me great. Most other major KDE apps like kdetv, amarok have support too. So it is very unfortunate that kradio does not have a hotkeys plugin.

How do you like Plasma 5?
     The best KDE Desktop ever.
     Definitely a nice improvement.
Not decided yet. Haven't tried it yet.
I do not like some of the changes.
KDE is taking the wrong way.
I am still sticking with KDE 3.5.
I have no opinion, but wanted to vote anyway.
