 Great App!

I've been building soundKonverter for several releases now but never had a chance or reason to use it. None the less, I know a heavy duty converter would come in handy.

Today I had the opportunity to use it. I had to convert some DMR contaminated MS audio files to mp3 so my housemate could use it on her sandisk e280 (which works perfectly under GNU Linux, just open Konq!). When she converted them on her Linux machine, the mp3s came out blank. So I decided to pull out the heavy guns. soundKonverter had no problem with them.

Thank you for this great app. I knew it would come in handy one day!

 change sample rate

Is there anyway to change the sample rate when converting to a wav. As I currently have to convert ogg files to wav in soundkonverter. Then individually change the sample rate with sox.

that shouldn't be a problem. but a portuguese translation should already be in progress. so it shouldn't be necessary to translate it. but thank you for your effort.

hi,
unfortunately this backtrace is useless. it could be a problem with taglib. you could send me the file to hessijames at gmail dot com and i could have a look at it.

I also have the same problem with feisty here. When I tried to choose an rm file, the program just crashed on me immediately (have not tried other file formats yet). I hope this get solved because it looks like this is the only program I found that can do rm converting to mp3. Thanks.

Do you like or dislike Ubuntu Unity?
 Yes, unity is alien technology!
It is less confusing than Gnome 3 default, shell.
Granny thinks it is much more usable than Gnome 2
Canonical is embarrasing itself with this split project
Gnome 3 default shell is much better
I dislike Unity, Gnome 3 default shell is alien technology!
None of the above, I like the 2Gb for free and Apple alike behavior. Will post a comment instead
