Hello,

Very nice program and esp. with beta1. But if I try to ebuild with --enable-final (using kdeenablefinal as use flag) I get the following error:

Without, it builds fine. Let me know if you need more information, I didn't see a bugzilla for this...

I love this application! I generally don't need audio conversion, but recently I did and installed soundKonverter. I was blown away. Great job on this and thanks for making life a little easier.

 Great thing, but...

Hi this applikation is GREAT! It works fine for me and does what it should do!

But to be honest, the cue-Editor could be a little bit more comfortable. For example: playing a Track, klicking on cuepoint, editing artist and songname doing that n-times and at the end saving the whole thing. :) That would be cool!

I would love to helping doing that but my programming skills with C+ are not even there!

Keep on rockin'

MAW

Shouldn't you be aiming for a 1.0 release already? :) I think soundKonverter, in its current state, is almost feature-complete (from what is expected of an audio file converter). Also, KDE 4 is just around the corner and its APIs are 'almost' stable, if not stable. I'm looking forward to seeing a soundKonverter 1.0 release for KDE 4. Just some motivation... ;-)

 Versioning Scheme

 by djclue917 on: Dec 16 2006

Score 50%

Hi. I think it would be better if you tag your release tarballs with the same version you put in here. What I mean is that, for instance, in your 0.3rc1 release, your source tarball is named as soundkonverter-0.2.95.tar.bz2. Can't it be named as soundkonverter-0.3rc1.tar.bz2 to avoid confusion? (Also, it wouldn't confuse users as well as packagers)

By the way, just an observation, I think you're rushing to make a 0.3 release. :-) I thought of that since the previous release before 0.3rc1 was an alpha. There wasn't even a beta... But I guess this release is worthy of being called an RC because of the sheer amount of bugs fixed. Keep it up! ;-)

oh, there was a beta, but you're right. I'm rushing, because at the moment I haven't got much free time.
and yeah, the versioning scheme may be a little bit confusing :) . i'll change that.
concerning your other comment. i wrote 0.4 in order to make clear that i mean the next version. soundkonverter 1.0 for kde 4.0 would be great. ;)
i'm a little bit unsure, what features to implement in the following versions. i definitely don't want to make some kind of bloat-ware, but i have some more ideas. so it'll be a compromise of performance, usability and featurerichness.

Do you like or dislike Ubuntu Unity?
 Yes, unity is alien technology!
It is less confusing than Gnome 3 default, shell.
Granny thinks it is much more usable than Gnome 2
Canonical is embarrasing itself with this split project
Gnome 3 default shell is much better
I dislike Unity, Gnome 3 default shell is alien technology!
None of the above, I like the 2Gb for free and Apple alike behavior. Will post a comment instead
