 CMake error

My config: SuSE 10.0, KDE 3.5.2, cmake version 2.3-20060317

No very good for my first encounter with CMake. This leads to the questions: Why CMake instead of the autotools? They're still working much better AFAIK.

I was having the same problem with CMake 2.3 (Suse 9.2, KDE 3.5.2). Grab CMake 2.4.1 from CMake.org & it should build just fine.

Try to upgrade cmake.
I have cmake 2.3-20060409 and it works.

 Debian Sid KDE 3.5.2

Seemed to install fine once I compiles a new version of cmake

Install the project...
/usr/local/bin/cmake -P cmake_install.cmake
-- Install configuration: "Release"
-- Installing /root/.kde/lib/kde3/libadblock.so
-- Installing /root/.kde/share/apps/khtml/kpartplugins/plugin_adblock.desktop
-- Installing /root/.kde/share/apps/khtml/kpartplugins/plugin_adblock.rc
-- Installing /root/.kde/lib/kde3/libadblock.la

But how do I turn it on?

Hi,
seems, that you've installed it as root. So adblock is only available for him.
Install it as user!

 Looks good, but...

1. You can only add 1 filter at a time. Why not place an "add" button next to the line edit? Its a pain to have to keep opening the dialog.
2. No way to remove a filter. Maybe add a "Remove" button like the "Add" above?
3. Perhaps also add a right-mouse-button menu so that you can right click on an item in the table?
4. The dialog size comes up quite small.

Also, for KUbuntu, I modified the build.sh to be:

#!/bin/sh
cmake -DCMAKE_INSTALL_PREFIX=`kde-config --prefix`
sudo make install

Hi,

>1. You can only add 1 filter at a time. >Why not place an "add" button next to >the line edit? Its a pain to have to >keep opening the dialog.

This is a feature came from the FIREFOXs "adblock" :-)

>2. No way to remove a filter. Maybe add >a "Remove" button like the "Add" above?

The right place to remove filters is the "old" adblock panel

>4. The dialog size comes up quite >small.

Fixed in next version (0.0.3)

>Also, for KUbuntu, I modified the >build.sh to be:

right...

Thanks for the feedback

Cheers,
Daniele

 Konqueror crashes

by SvenArcher on: May 9 2006

Score 50%

When I close a KDE-Look.org preview popup window by clicking on the "close" link (javascript:self.close()), konqueror crashes.

This only happens when I have the extension enabled.

Suse 9.2, KDE 3.5.2

How about adding DIV blocking similar to Firefox' Adblock Plus?

Do you like or dislike Ubuntu Unity?
 Yes, unity is alien technology!
It is less confusing than Gnome 3 default, shell.
Granny thinks it is much more usable than Gnome 2
Canonical is embarrasing itself with this split project
Gnome 3 default shell is much better
I dislike Unity, Gnome 3 default shell is alien technology!
None of the above, I like the 2Gb for free and Apple alike behavior. Will post a comment instead
