KDE Other Utility

Minimum required   Qt 3.x
Downloads:  352
Submitted:  Feb 10 2007

Description:

Xinestarter is a small utility to preview video and music files of the selected target directory. It can also handle subtitles.

Do not forget to execute it in console (at least once), to see the available options.

Depends on:

-Kaffeine Player (>= 0.8.2)
(for the KPart to embed as the preview window);
-KDE;
-QT 3.3;
-Xine Player

Tarball contains sources and binary.

Hope you enjoy it. I'm addicted to it since 2005 :-)

Hi,
you try to compile against qt4. Use /usr/lib/qt3/bin/qmake.

Greetings

With your source I cannot compilre a RPM following the rule ./configure/make/make install.....It's not a standard

Suggest to follow this procedure or indicate the procedure to follow for creation a RPM...

It's not a solution to invite windows users to come on LINUX system

 RPM error

I´m sorry.
I´m new in the field of distributing applications. I´ll try to build a source with configure support in the future.
In this project I used the QT´z qmake technology.

Does the binary work for you. I tried to compile it for the i486 platform.

I never install if I cannot create a RPM version for my distribution SuSE.

Do you like or dislike Ubuntu Unity?
 Yes, unity is alien technology!
 It is less confusing than Gnome 3 default, shell.
 Granny thinks it is much more usable than Gnome 2
 Canonical is embarrasing itself with this split project
 Gnome 3 default shell is much better
 I dislike Unity, Gnome 3 default shell is alien technology!
 None of the above, I like the 2Gb for free and Apple alike behavior. Will post a comment instead
