Thanks for the excellent beta (and especially the C++ rewrite and wallet support).

I am sharing the following in the hope that it will help someone else compile, although it will expose my stupidity. Before compiling, one must add execution permissions for the entire source folder (chmod -r a+x kgmailnotifier), not just the "configure" script. (Duh!) So in conclusion, there is no excuse not to compile and try this app.

 rc-1

Hi

In the main.cpp I had to add the lines
#include <stdlib.h>
#include <stdio.h>

If not, I could not compile .
The exit fonction [exit(0)] needs these libraries.

Hi.

You are right. I already included these in some other source files (and interestingly that sufficed to compile cleanly on g++ 4.3 as I tested) but not in all. I'll fix that and test it more thoroughly.

Thanks for the hint.

P.S.
As we're talking about C++ code here, you should use includes such as <cstdlib> rather than <stdlib.h> :-)

Hi

I know but strangely it did not accept it without the .h!

I run Archlinux with gcc-4.3.0

 Popup bug

First of all, great app! I really couldn't live without it :)

In polish localization there is a bug in popup notification.

http://img220.imageshack.us/img220/6905/screenshot1lp0.jpg

It looks like 2 text lines are displayed in 1 line and as a result text becomes unreadable.

And a little suggestion:
Right now if i have 2 messages i can only see the newest. It would be great if you could add option to switch messages in popup with arrows.

Keep up the good work!

Best Regards

Hmm, apparently the polish string is too wide for the space available and therefore is split on two rows. This can also depend on the main font used on the system (some use wider and some more narrow fonts). I'll see if I can find a way to have the popup window adjust the overall font size automatically depending on the font width and string length.

Thanks for bringing this to my attention.

After, compiling the newest 0.4.0-rc2 version on my kubuntu 8.04 the translation switched from polish to english. I couldn't find any configuration file that can let me to change language, maybe you could tell me how can i do that?

Best regards

It worked for me when I tried it on Kubuntu just now. Just make sure you have GNU msgfmt installed (apt-get install gettext) otherwise the translation files won't be built.

OK. I'm gonna try that. As fair as i can remember i don't have gettext installed (apt-get autoremoved it few days ago) but i'm not sure. Gonna check it when i have access to my PC. Thanks for help.

How do you like Plasma 5?
 The best KDE Desktop ever.
 Definitely a nice improvement.
 Not decided yet. Haven't tried it yet.
 I do not like some of the changes.
 KDE is taking the wrong way.
 I am still sticking with KDE 3.5.
 I have no opinion, but wanted to vote anyway.
