Description:

Lancelot is an ALI (application launcher interface) for KDE 4 designed to provide a place from which all your jobs begin. It provides quick access to applications, places, documents, contacts and system information.

It is a part of KDE since 4.2, so you should have it in your distribution's package repository. It should be in kdeplasma-addons package.

 missing contacts

by amihere on: Mar 7 2009

Score 50%

Hi,

I've installed Lancelot and everything was fine until I synchronized contact in Kopete with KAddressBook via Kopete metacontacts. When I did it, every synchronized contacts in the Lancelot tab disappeared like offline and only not-connected contacts were shown. Does anyone have this issue too? I know it's not major issue, but I like things working :)
Thanks for any idea!

 Smaller icons?

Hello! If it would be possible to shrink the icons I would certainly appreciate that. Hate scrolling. Doesn't let me overlook everything the way I prefer.

Being able to change the order

For me, the multimedia, system and internetfolders are very large. Would it be possible to personally rearrange the order in them?

This solely depends on your distribution and you. Right click Lancelot icon, and start the Menu Editor.

... or in a similar way, dividing it into administration and, and, and whatever the other is... system?... Would also be nice if personal organization isn't possible.

Keep up the work!

 Compiling lancelot for qt45

Hi. I use qt45 and I see that lancelot has some bugs with it. I know there is a patch for lancelot source (AFAIK it has already been applied to SVN source), but I am not able to compile lancelot. I've satisfied all the dependencies (I think so), but it fail at the 'cmake' command.

How do you like Plasma 5?
 The best KDE Desktop ever.
 Definitely a nice improvement.
Not decided yet. Haven't tried it yet.
I do not like some of the changes.
KDE is taking the wrong way.
I am still sticking with KDE 3.5.
I have no opinion, but wanted to vote anyway.
