Description:

This plasmoid is a controller and a visualizer of informations about the songs for amarok 2.0.
It is quite, let's say, advanced compared with the "Now Playing" plasmoid. I have Kirocker as a model, so it works well even on a thin panel.
Currently it shows basilar info about the song, the cover image, the rating and other minor things, but I plan to add some other Things in the future.
Anyway if you have some feature request, please tell me!

Hope you enjoy it!

sounds like amarok or dbus is very slow.
if you call qdbus org.kde.amarok /Player GetMetadata in the terminal, does it hang?

Plasma hangs when changing songs or rewinding ie. from 2 % to 74%.

I checked the System monitor and it seems then when doin these actions (changing songs, rewinding) CPU is pretty loaded...;/

What can fix it? Please give some advice on it.

Here's the screenshot of System Monitor:

sorry, but i really don't know what to think. i don't have this problem, and, since noone other has written about this, i'd think this is a problem regarding your pc, maybe some packaging problems.
have you tried to remove your .kde folder?

ok. I'll try that... Maybe that's because I've installed Playwolf from here:

check that you have kde-workspace-dev and libplasma-dev installed

But this problem is not related to the plasmoid, if it doesn't work you'd better ask on the ubuntuforums

it's not obvious - but clicking on the border (any side) did bring it up, I think previous poster and self were assuming a icon or something as to indicate where to initiate.

How do you like Plasma 5?
 The best KDE Desktop ever.
 Definitely a nice improvement.
Not decided yet. Haven't tried it yet.
I do not like some of the changes.
KDE is taking the wrong way.
I am still sticking with KDE 3.5.
I have no opinion, but wanted to vote anyway.
