Description:

This plasmoid is a controller and a visualizer of informations about the songs for amarok 2.0.
It is quite, let's say, advanced compared with the "Now Playing" plasmoid. I have Kirocker as a model, so it works well even on a thin panel.
Currently it shows basilar info about the song, the cover image, the rating and other minor things, but I plan to add some other Things in the future.
Anyway if you have some feature request, please tell me!

Hope you enjoy it!

if you call "plasmoidviewer --list" is playwolf listed?
if yes try restarting plasma, and if not i think it is a packaging problem. try compiling it manually, it's simple!

plasmoidviewer --list
doesn't work
and "plamoidviwer playwold" does says no applet found
0.2 worked, but 0.3 didn't as well

I have installed it and everything was fine.
But now, a new day, after the reboot, the album covers aren't shown, equal which option I choose.
i killed the plasmoid an applied a new one, but nothing changed. Is there a config file which I can change or remove, to solve the problem?

Thanks for Help
sorry for bad English

Well, the settings are saved in $HOME/.kde/share/config/plasma-appletsrc .
You must find the sections of the file that regards playwolf and delete them.
Anyway I don't think you'll solve anything. The problem is only with the cover or others parts too?
Try calling "qdbus org.kde.amarok /Player GetMetadata" in the terminal and see if amarok returns the informations you don't see in playwolf.

you are right, removing this config didn't change anything. But you command lists me everything what should be displayed even the file url.
The funny thing is that with another user everything works fine.

Ok, the new version works fine on kde 4.1 (fedora 10).
However, somehow i dont get any track information on the screen. Just the pos bar, and the buttons...
Any ideas ?

I make a prediction: you aren't using oxygen as kde style, isn't it?
It happened to me too 2 or 3 days ago that I installed bespin.
This is caused by a Qt bug.
At the moment you can solve writing
label->nativeWidget()->setAttribute( Qt::WA_NoSystemBackground, false );
on line 40-50 of wolflabel.cpp.

Anyway I will release a new tarball with a fully working workaround soon.

You must be psychic.
It seems that was it. Added that, and it is working now.

Im compiling manually, as my repos don have it. But it compiles and works smooth now.

How do you like Plasma 5?
 The best KDE Desktop ever.
 Definitely a nice improvement.
Not decided yet. Haven't tried it yet.
I do not like some of the changes.
KDE is taking the wrong way.
I am still sticking with KDE 3.5.
I have no opinion, but wanted to vote anyway.
