it's just a thought, but it would be cool, if you can execute a command just before the real shutdown.
e.g. to shutdown a second machine

maybe next version? :)

Hi,
Incoming KShutDown 0.1.8beta can execute any commands. This is not exactly what you think, but it may help in such tasks ;)

Nice to have some additional shutdown options, thanks for the effort! Heres a couple of suggestions-

1. How about adding "Console Mode" to the options? Saw this in one of the Distro's a long time ago where the logout dialog had "End Session", "Console Mode", "Turn Off", and "Restart". Kinda miss just being able to go to init 3 without having end session, then going to another vc to issue the init 3 (when you want to be graceful about it). Could just have the ability to add it as a user command rather than just edit existing commands too.

2. Possibility of including it as a taskbar applet like the "Lock/Logout Applet", not just the tray area shortcut This would make a nice addition/replacement to Lock/Logout.

 On next boot

What would be really great would be an option to be able to tell grub which configuration to boot on the next boot.

To mess up a Linux box, you need to work at it; to mess up your Windows box, you just need to work on it.

Do you like or dislike Ubuntu Unity?
 Yes, unity is alien technology!
It is less confusing than Gnome 3 default, shell.
Granny thinks it is much more usable than Gnome 2
Canonical is embarrasing itself with this split project
Gnome 3 default shell is much better
I dislike Unity, Gnome 3 default shell is alien technology!
None of the above, I like the 2Gb for free and Apple alike behavior. Will post a comment instead
