 much better than 0.7

I think this version is greate! It's very stable and the look is clear and not confusing. I think to put the tabs on the left side isn't bad. But I would make the tabs look like this one on amarok. There you can see very afst, what the tabs are for.

Can we have scrolling with the scrollwheel back to normal again, up for forward and down for backward? This is what it use to be, it's confusing that only kaffeine has this backwards again :P

 5.1 sound problem

Hi =)
When trying to play 5.1 sound in Kaffeine using the xine engine the sound is always 'stuttering'.
It works fine in Xine with the same settings.
Using:
Kaffeine 0.9
xine-lib 1.1.1
xine-ui 0.99.4

Whoa...I did a 'zcat /vmlinuz > /dev/audio' and I think I heard God...

 buffer overflows

Hi.

Very nice application and a good out-of-the-box experience.

However, I experience random (or so it seems) crashes with the budget DVB-C card Terratec Cinergy 1200 (Philips SAA7146 chip).

200 frames delivered, 4 frames skipped, 0 frames discarded
EIT (0:0) : buffer overflow! Rejected
EIT (0:0) : buffer overflow! Rejected
Stop parsing EIT (0:0)
EIT (0:0) : buffer overflow! Rejected
EIT (0:0) : buffer overflow! Rejected

and so on.

My version (8.2) breaks (and takes me to the login) when I try to play WMV or MPEG.

Do you like or dislike Ubuntu Unity?
 Yes, unity is alien technology!
It is less confusing than Gnome 3 default, shell.
Granny thinks it is much more usable than Gnome 2
Canonical is embarrasing itself with this split project
Gnome 3 default shell is much better
I dislike Unity, Gnome 3 default shell is alien technology!
None of the above, I like the 2Gb for free and Apple alike behavior. Will post a comment instead
