 I love amarok

by SubAtomic on: Feb 28 2005

Score 50%

Man I love this application. The development/release cycle is so fast however, by the time I have upgraded to the latest release, the next release is only a few weeks away.

Keep up the good work. Best media player ever.

 remember effects

by nightdragon on: Feb 28 2005

Score 50%

there is an option in the settings menu to remember effects. Are effects still enabled in these releases of amarok or is this feature an artifact left over?
Also, I've been following the cvs version of amarok from the kde extra gear section, is this the same version as mentioned here?

thanks and peace

Haha, I just saw the Marvin Gaye album cover; that's hilarious.

Anyway, my only complaint about Amarok is that it isn't in the KDE distribution (yet). Thanks for the great work!

Legal issues with the blue wolf icon? I thought it was GPL as part of the contest. Any news on this?

I designed the icon after an original artowrk i found a while ago and which had (what i knew at that time) nothing to do with trademark issues or the site elfquest.com

What i didn't know is that this graphic seems to be the graphic the elfquest logo is based on too.

Now there is a big fuss and legal issues and when i visited the elfquest site i got a shiver through my whole body.

A radikal coinsitence and all my fault.

here is the original image i used as a base: http://da-flow.schaekel.org/da-flow/daten/wolf.jpg

hope things are clearer,

Do you like or dislike Ubuntu Unity?
 Yes, unity is alien technology!
It is less confusing than Gnome 3 default, shell.
Granny thinks it is much more usable than Gnome 2
Canonical is embarrasing itself with this split project
Gnome 3 default shell is much better
I dislike Unity, Gnome 3 default shell is alien technology!
None of the above, I like the 2Gb for free and Apple alike behavior. Will post a comment instead
