Changelog:

ATTENTION BIG CHANGES

The biggest change in this release is how you compile / execute the program. These changes have been made to end a number of bugs attributed to improper installation files used by the application.

So after get the source and unpack ... run in console:

qmake or qmake-qt4 2ManDVD.pro 2ManDVD.pro (on fedora)
make

and finally:

sudo make install

And I stress the make install (as root)

Then you can start the application from your main menu (kde & gnome tested)

 Problem with button's order

by Lole on: May 16 2009

Score 50%

I made a DVD with 2 videos (.avi)
I added an introduction video and one animated menu. Then I added 2 buttons (with no thumbnail but with only text). All worked fine and I burnt a .iso image.
When I tried my DVD in my player I couldn't select the 2nd button with the remote control (the 1st one worked fine). I tried to order in Menu->Tabulation order but didn't know how to order right

Can someone help me?

 16/9 mode

hi Stéphane

there is a bug in 16/9 pal mode.
when i´m importing a media with wright parameters, mandvd don´t know it.

in 4/3 pal the video is marked as correct but when the dvd is ready the video is converted to 4/3 from 16/9.

the problem for me is that i want to create a 16/9 dvd and mandvd always reencode the video and the audio is after the encoding ahead of the video

Benedikt from austria

and sorry for my bad english :-)

Your problem should be fix with 0.8.8 release. But you must reimport your media.

Hi Stephan, you know that I think this is one of the best software that I use in linux second only to "smile"!
There is only a problem: it's impossible to open an older project realized with a old version of the software.
Any solution?
Thanks.

When you say "xine" are you referring to the xine libraries or the actual program?

I'm hoping it's the former...

 avi files

Hello!
I'm beginning to learn the program and it is amazing.

The only problem I have is:
I try to build a DVD from avi files.

When you add a file (91 min) 2mandvd says I have 86% free of my DVD... it is correct?

The size of the dvd resulting is too small, I sense that the dvd will not be able to play a dvd player.

:S

sorry my poor english

Do you like or dislike Ubuntu Unity?
 Yes, unity is alien technology!
It is less confusing than Gnome 3 default, shell.
Granny thinks it is much more usable than Gnome 2
Canonical is embarrasing itself with this split project
Gnome 3 default shell is much better
I dislike Unity, Gnome 3 default shell is alien technology!
None of the above, I like the 2Gb for free and Apple alike behavior. Will post a comment instead
