Many users ask how to create themes for eyeOS. Here's a short tutorial. Make some new folders like this: "extern\apps\eyeX\themes\themename" and "extern\apps\eyeLogin\themes\themename". Copy the files from "eyeosxx\extern\apps\eyeX\themes\default", edit them and replace the icons.
Then make some new folders like this: "apps\eyeLogin\themes\themename". Copy the files from "eyexx\apps\eyeLogin\themes\default" and edit the window.eyecode. To create an eyepackage, just make a .tar.gz from both folders and rename it to .eyepackage

I have added a themes category to eyeos-apps.org, by the way. :-)

 New eyeOS apps

I would like to ask users what apps would they like to see for eyeOS. I don't speak about improvements on eyeOS, but simple apps like the ones from eyeos-apps.org. So here I go:

-> An app to view .dwf files. There is eyeFreewheel but you can't view files inside eyeOS
-> A tool to update a blog within eyeOS (withou using eyeNav). Something like eyeTwit

Do you like or dislike Ubuntu Unity?
 Yes, unity is alien technology!
It is less confusing than Gnome 3 default, shell.
Granny thinks it is much more usable than Gnome 2
Canonical is embarrasing itself with this split project
Gnome 3 default shell is much better
I dislike Unity, Gnome 3 default shell is alien technology!
None of the above, I like the 2Gb for free and Apple alike behavior. Will post a comment instead
