The new "About" dialog:

A *HUGE* difference, as you can see.
(I'm making fun)

Stroke dialog:

Somehow, I don't really like the "Stroke Using a Paint Tool" sentence..

You can find some GIMPY news from the far future at http://mmmaybe.gimp.org (check out those news dates ;)

And there's a few screenshots at http://developer.gimp.org , not the latest and greatest though.

 MDI not yet?

Hey, GIMP 2.0pre1 looks great, amazing but one thing that is bugging me since the first time I used GIMP is the windows thrown away...there should be MDI option that will contain all of those windows in one main window. It is better that way...is there in this version such option?

There is a difference between knowing the path and walking the path! If it is c:\ it will crash..

Well, I don't care much for MDI, but it indeed seems quite in demand in the industry...

GIMP will most certainly not support it though -- it is based on the GTK toolkit, and GTK isn't able to do MDI.

How do you like Plasma 5?
 The best KDE Desktop ever.
 Definitely a nice improvement.
Not decided yet. Haven't tried it yet.
I do not like some of the changes.
KDE is taking the wrong way.
I am still sticking with KDE 3.5.
I have no opinion, but wanted to vote anyway.
