The Howto section on KDE-Look has not been updated for a long time. The reason is that I�m short of time and knowledge. ;-)
If you have the know-how and you are willing to help KDE-Look than send us your Howtos for developing and using themes. I will publish your Howtos on KDE-Look.

My only upload contains some help file (in OOo format) for those willing to make cursors. If you find it helpful, just take it ;-)

I was learning short time ago how to make styles for kde 3.x, but manuals seem to be rare, and I quite didn't manage to get full grasp of it yet, so I'd rather not post anything about it :-(

Since I just finished my second native Kwin theme (grover), I'm still in the mood. So I just started writing a tutorial on writing native Kwin themes. It probably won't have much more than Rik's earlier work, but it may cover some stuff that he didn't.

Working on it right now. Make take a little while, but I hope to get it done within a week. I'm not going to cover "pixmap" styles, but regular "native" styles.

There's some pretty strong rumours that the Kwin API is going to change in 3.2. I've got the first draft of the tutorial finished, but I want to wait and get some more news on this change...

I just uploaded a HOWTO explaining how to configure KDE by manually editing the config files as well as using the control center. It should cover just about everything style and looks wise and I will be updating it to include much more in the next few days. Hope it's useful.
