 QT on RedHat 9

Has anyone managed to compile QT 3.2.3 on RedHat 9?

I configured it using:

./configure -thread -system-libpng -system-libjpeg --prefix=/usr/lib/qt-3.2.3 -qt-gif -system-zlib

but received the following error:

g++ -c -pipe -fPIC -Wall -W -O2 -D_REENTRANT -DDESIGNER -DQT_INTERNAL_XML -DQT_INTERNAL_WORKSPACE -DQT_INTERNAL_ICONVIEW -DQT_INTERNAL_TABLE -DQT_NO_DEBUG -DQT_THREAD_SUPPORT -DQT_SHARED -I/home/cschlipf/tmp/kde3.2b2/qt-x11-free-3.2.3/mkspecs/linux-g++ -I. -I/usr/include/freetype2 -I../shared -I../uilib -I../../../include -I/usr/X11R6/include -I.moc/release-shared-mt/ -o ./listboxeditor.o listboxeditor.cpp

 qt-3.2.3

I subscribe to CRUX linux mail list. And 5-6 had a proble there also. They say to fix it remove the old version of qt first. Has to to do with old version of /usr/bin/uic being used instead of the newer one.

Do you like or dislike Ubuntu Unity?
 Yes, unity is alien technology!
 It is less confusing than Gnome 3 default, shell.
 Granny thinks it is much more usable than Gnome 2
 Canonical is embarrasing itself with this split project
 Gnome 3 default shell is much better
 I dislike Unity, Gnome 3 default shell is alien technology!
 None of the above, I like the 2Gb for free and Apple alike behavior. Will post a comment instead
